Rajnesh Singh and Sabrina Wilmot (from ISOC’s membership department) attended the South Asian Network Operators Group (SANOG) meeting in Kathmandu, Nepal. The agenda included technical training, as well as a two-day conference. ISOC has been a regular sponsor of SANOG, in line with its capacity building efforts. SANOG also provided ISOC with an opportunity to engage with its Nepal Chapter members.

Rajnesh presented an update on ISOC’s activities at the conference, and Sabrina facilitated an ISOC Nepal Chapter meeting earlier in the week. As an outcome of the chapter meeting, an ISOC Nepal working group has been formed to plan out the chapter structure and the activities it wishes to engage in. Later in the week Rajnesh and Sabrina had a joint meeting with the working group to discuss an action plan going forward.
